Loudwater Mystery
Admirable Tinker
Happy Pollyooly
Terrible Twins
An English author. He created primarily mainstream adventure and detective fiction. He also wrote supernatural and fantasy stories.
Happy Pollyooly-
Jepson continues the story of his twelve year-old heroine, Mary Bride, known as Pollyooly. She is still acting as housekeeper to the Honourable John Ruffin, keeping his rooms spotlessly clean and grilling his bacon to the right turn. Twice inthe course of the story she is called to act the part of Lady Marion Ricksborough, the little peeress whom she so remarkably resembles, and in the second instance is instrumental in effecting a reconciliation between the duke and duchess, Lady Marion's father and mother.
Loudwater Mystery-
An English detective story in which neither the characters nor the plot are unusual, though they are nicely managed. The action never lags, and the ending is rather out of the ordinary.
The Terrible Twins-
The elaborate naughtiness of a pair of aristocratic English twins. The studied pranks become wearisome in large doses, but there are some really funny episodes.
