The Color Me Closer: A Creative Devotional Series is themed for a thirty-day

journey to encourage creative personal and spiritual growth. It offers

a challenge to go beyond reading, and invites you on an excursion into the

creative process with the Creator Himself.

Sweeter than Honey, the first in the series, focuses on scriptures that pertain

to the goodness of God as it is used for healing and comfort, guidance and

direction, reproof and correction, and insight and wisdom.

Each day is sectioned into the following parts:

• Seek: a scripture that relates to the series’ theme

• Reflect: a short applicable devotion that discusses the scripture

• Respond: a prayer

• Create: a suggested prompt to help you meditate on the Word as

you work with the provided image, as you add your creative flare

to the image, or as you venture out and design your own image!

When you pick up and begin to use the devotional, remember to breathe.

There is no right or wrong in the creative process. It is meant to be used as a

small nudge into the Creator’s heart and hands. Invite Him into the journey.

Listen as He speaks to your heart. Create with Him. Create for Him.
