Cold Shot is the second in a Scottish detective series, following the careers of Detective Buchanan and his partner Max as they uncover the secrets and stories behind gruesome homicides in Scotland. Steve Christie was born and educated in Aberdeen. About 18 years ago he moved to Edinburgh, where he still lives, with his wife and 2 sons. He works as a Service Support Officer with Edinburgh City Council.
