In 1951, atomic testing began at Frenchman Flat, Nevada. Though safety assurances were made, the devastating impact of nuclear particles drifting into Southern Utah soon became evident as hundreds of civilians mysteriously began to die, while many others contracted various types of cancer. They were referred to as ‘Down-Winders’. The states leaders were in an uproar and demanded something be done or they would expose the Atomic Energy’s nefarious activities.

An agreement was made, and as payment for their sins, the US Government formed a collaboration between Albert Einstein and Astrophysicist, Julian Bleu. Together, they worked on a top secret program: Code Name Fountain of Youth. The project, which took place at a remote government facility in the Arizona desert, was designed to give 24 handpicked US dignitaries, half of whom were Utah political and religious leaders...eternal life! Unfortunately, as the experiment took place, an explosion occurred killing all of the intended recipients.

End of story, right? Actually, it's just the beginning. You see, a handful of civilian employees working in the building next door, unwittingly became the recipients of the experiment and have lived an ageless life for the past 60 years. Sounds like a good thing doesn’t it? It would be if it weren’t for the fact that an assassin has been picking them off one by one. Something needs to be done, but no one knows who’s behind it. They call themselves the Bleu’s, because of the glow their bodies emit after sunset. Living together, hunkered down inside a compound out in the middle of the Arizona desert, they desperately need help!

Fast forward to present day. Successful businessman Steve Hunt just flew to Scottsdale, Arizona, to purchase a 1963 Corvette Stingray at a Barrett Jackson auction, where he’ll take a well deserved vacation, cruising Route 66. At this very moment, he’s enjoying his mid-afternoon ride as he approaches Dead Man’s Curve, a 90-degree bend in the road just ahead that will live up to its name. He doesn’t know it yet, but a ‘Bleu’ being pursued by a hired killer, just ran out of the desert and is now standing in the middle of the highway, directly in Steve's path! At 100 miles per hour, will Steve have time to stop?

Hang on, because the drive across the Mother Road is about to get treacherous. Before his ‘vacation’ is over, Steve will be nearly beaten to death by a gang of bad-ass bikers, fall in love with a contentious bare-foot woman, stumble across a group of desperate souls living in a secluded compound in the middle of the desert, form a strange alliance with a blind man and crazy Indian, be accused of two homicides he didn’t commit, get fired from his job, have his Corvette stolen, lose his home and entire savings, turn into an alcoholic and end up living in the middle of the desert with two strangers... and that’s just for starters. On the positive side, he’ll help solve the 60 year old mystery that killed a dozen people during that secret experiment, expose a government cover up, uncover a diabolical plot to establish a new world order, and come face to face with the scumbag who killed his parents when he was just nine years old.

Tighten your seat belt because Steve’s journey across Route 66 is about to get bumpy!
