After applying to colleges across the nation in the attempt to get her life back on track, Carrie Jennings waits patiently for the acceptance letters to come pouring in. Unfortunately, after receiving twenty-nine rejection letters she had only one hope left. Cloverfield Academy - a small, all-girls college in the middle of Nowhere Ohio. The letter came in. She read it over and over to make sure there was no mistake. She was in! Finally, after a life on the wrong side of the tracks, Carrie was finally on the right path.

When she showed up to the campus ready to put her past behind her, Carrie got the shock of her life. The small, gothic-styled campus held a deep, dark secret that she, and the rest of the incoming freshman was soon to learn. Life at Cloverfield was going to be far from normal, but thanks to her hedonist past she was more suited to it than most.
