Clara is based on me as a child, I was a bit naughty and always had a vivid imagination. 'The No I Didn't Lady'is a real person to me, she is not just cardboard! I did visit a Snow Hill Horsey, as in my book, the creature did indeed come out of the snow sea! Roger is a real person, I have seen him several times.. Henry Nightingale and Dennis Ryan are ancestors, as is Delila Druit, based on our Great Nan: Agnes Boughtwood, she was a wizzard in the kitchen! Sas is my sister Sarah, she often made games up with me and the cardboard lady. The book is spiritual in nature, in a mild way so not to scare. The stories introduce us to the angels and Fairy Kingdom. There is an emphasis on supporting Mother Earth and her 'Bee' population as well as all other creatures.
