Events come to a head as Monica sets out to deal with Sean and end his threat once and for all. Todd faces an impending attack by a group of maniacs, and if that weren’t bad enough, the government learns of their involvement with the outbreak, spurring an impromptu visit by the armed forces in search of the man responsible for the end of the world... Things are more desperate than ever and a rumor begins to circulate that the scientist that designed the virus might have created a vaccine to counter it...
