This book includes insights on global warming and climate change, from a political, economic, scientific and engineering perspective. It speaks about the current situation regarding alterations to the chemistry of the biosphere/atmosphere over the Industrial Age. In particular, it focuses on the accelerating rate of change in the last 100 years and what needs to happen to redress the situation. While this book is informed by economics and science, it is not a scientific or economic treatise. It seeks to take a holistic view of the many and varied aspects of the climate issue. It also raises the many exciting possibilities there are for using the best of human ingenuity and enterprise to reach solutions and seeks to contribute to a wider environmental debate.
