Snacks is an indispensable part of any meal, may it be any cuisine, without snacks any meal seems to be impossible and incomplete.

I have traveled across the world and noticed the fact that it may be any occasion, any where, any time; a crunchy snack is always a part of the meal. Snacks can be of various types soft, crunchy, fried, steamed or grilled. It does not necessarily mean that they have to be high in calorie; infact most of the snacks can be prepared low in calorie by following original method or sometime by making a slight change in the preparation process.

As the times have changed, people have less and less time to be backing home for a lunch/ dinner, they prefer carrying snacks in tiffin boxes. As the snacks can be relished at any time of the day with tea or coffee. Most of the food chains which are newly coming up under stand the time’s need and their menu consist of more snacks items. One major advantage is that they are fast to cook and can be preserved for a long time. Snack meal is complete in terms of tummy fillers and also in terms of nutritive balanced diet.
