What people today need is an 'ecological conversion': ‘Living our vocation to be protectors of God’s handiwork is essential to a life of virtue; it is not an optional or a secondary aspect of our Christian experience' – Pope Francis. Regarding the environment, Pope Francis identifies two groups of Catholics: the critical and the indifferent. A third group might consist of those who are willing, even enthusiastic, but who feel discouraged about the possibility of making any real difference.
