Excerpt:
Vinnie charged her from out of the front hallway.  Johnny was crawling towards an end table with drawers, and AJ was struggling to his feet.  Mr. Cotter had rolled to his butt, and was glaring at her.  Johnny opened a drawer and pulled out a pistol looking thing, which she assumed was a taser.  It looked completely different from the one she was zapped with before.

That’s when Vinnie reached her with a wild battle cry on his lips.

“Yeow!” she cried, ducking to the side away from his right cross.  She seized his wrist with her enhanced reflexes, spun around as she twisted his arm.  And then Catgirl used her hip to bump him up, as she pulled, directed, and threw him at Johnny.  “Bam!  Bet that hurt.”

Johnny went down with a grunt, and the taser went skittering across the floor.  She started for it, but AJ charged her at that time.  Catgirl blocked his right, left, and sidestepped an uppercut, and then tried to knee him in the nuts.  AJ twisted and took the knee on the hip, and then backhanded her.  The sexy sidekick was half-spun around by the surprisingly brutal strike.  He was stronger than he looked.

AJ cried out angrily, and she ducked.  Catgirl sensed he was striking, and just missed being kicked in the head.  The power of his kick spun him around to face away from her, and she planted her hands on the floor and kicked him in the butt with both feet, sending him stumbling across the room.

Catgirl saw Mr. Cotter racing towards the taser out of the corner of her eyes.  Johnny was on her, though, looking furious as he swung at her face.  She blocked, spun around behind him, and kicked him in the back, sending his across the room.  That kick help launch her at Mr. Cotter, who was picking up the taser and turning towards her.

“I don’t think so!” she cried, kicking it out of his hand.  She threw a right cross, that he blocked.  Then he grabbed her wrist and turned, flipping her over him.  Catgirl allowed herself to be carried up and over, and used her gymnastic skills to land on her feet facing him.

Wagging her brows, “Catgirl always lands on her feet!”

“Land on this,” Vinnie snarled, and punched her in the back of the head.
