James caught him looking, and for a moment they locked gazes.
“I don’t come here looking for a relationship,” James said. “But I don’t hop into bed with just anyone, either.”
“Oh.” Fletcher looked back toward the ocean, suddenly even more embarrassed for himself. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have—”
