Captains Courageous - A Story of the Grand Banks

This vintage book contains Rudyard Kipling's 1897 novel, “Captains Courageous”. A fifteen-year-old boy called Harvey Cheyne Jr. is rescued by a Portuguese sailor in the North Atlantic. After refusing to deliver Harvey to the nearest port, the captain of the boat suggests that the boy join the crew on their fishing trip, which turns out to be full of adventures and travails. This book is highly recommended for those who have read and enjoyed other examples of Kipling's work, and it is well-deserving of a place on any bookshelf.
