Old Testament prophecies and types are fascinating for anyone eager to follow the unveiling of the life of Jesus found there and this book is the result of many years of research and teaching on this subject.
I thank God for the many reputable scholars who have wrought with the Word of God over the 2,000 years of church history. This has resulted in a rich tapestry of Christian thought that can be drawn on by modern teachers who then add their own insights and understanding to the foundation built by those who have gone before.
My determination to put down the things I have learned has kept me writing through almost three years. I have prayed for insight and understanding and the Lord has revealed some treasures that seem new and wonderful to me. We are told there is nothing new under the sun, but there are new ways of telling the story of Jesus and this is what I have attempted to do.
I am aware there are many books of this type already in print but in these days of increasing secularism I wanted my own family to have answers for the mockers; a firm foundation for their own faith in God.
I pray that all those who study this book will open up their hearts and lives to Jesus more fully, worshipping him in all his splendour as the One and Only Son of the Living God.
