The Irish Woman & Her Mysterious Fiancé - An Irish woman is promised to a man in Texas by her father, in return for a dowry to be sent back to her family in Ireland. She is picked up by one of his crew in New York, to be taken by wagon to Galveston, Texas. The funny thing is, her driver doesn’t seem to remember her name, and it’s only after a minute that he recognizes it.

The English Governess Meets The Cowboy - A governess from England is hired to go out west and become the teacher to a widower’s four children, and perhaps, something much more. When she arrives the two younger girls take to her immediately but the cowboy and his two other children are a bit in shock over her appearance, even though they have seen a photo of the woman before.

Losing Her Cowboy Before She Can Marry Him - A woman decides to become a mail order bride but goes west under subterfuge – she already has a man lined up even though she will be supposedly matched up with a cowboy by the company who is paying her way. When she gets there, she can’t find him, so settles for an unappetizing but un-assigned man. Things do go downhill rather fast from that point onward.

Living Off The Land For Her Husband, is about an independent spark of a woman from London, suddenly deciding to become a mail order bride and live in the Old West. The trouble is...she has no clue how to cook, clean house, or even get along with another human being within the closeness that marriage brings; let alone learn the ‘farm to table’ philosophy that will feed them both.

Under Primitive Conditions - Alone, a woman travels across the prairies to meet her cowboy fiancé in Nevada, but is unable to find him at first in the primitive tent town where he works. They get together and he and a drunken man who was on the floor of his shop travel to the man’s brother first to drop him off, then to the tiny cabin where they are to live.

Worlds Apart - Trapped in a loveless marriage, and after her husband’s suicide, Emma decides to become a mail order bride and after finding a rancher, she boards the train headed for California. There’s only one thing on her mind though; the rancher wants a family, and she’s thirty-five.

Give Love A Chance – A woman’s mother wants to shove her into marriage with someone she doesn’t love so she escapes and strikes out on her own.

Rebecca’s California Rancher – A tough and independent woman decides to take her fate into her hands and follow up on a mail order bride ad she sees in an old newspaper.
