This is a story about love and fear, in a magic realistic setting. It starts peacefully, at a Norwegian cheese farm. One of the visitors stays apart from the rest. The Austrian cheese girl, called Dirndl by the other girls, feels sorry for him and tries to help. The man seems not willing to respond, but what is really going on?
