Eldon investigates human-like emotions such as guilt, despair, and especially humor. He feels this will help him learn more about his Creator and about himself. Three examples, and places are: at a rest stop he is compelled to sing in a karoke contest; he becomes a jungle creature at an amusement park; he interacts with himself as a clown. All are firsts and all important in his search.

Source seekers Eldon and Salena embark upon their first joint SS mission. In the globular star cluster Quendiem was a planet called Metrozoid 4. In the cityscape which covered the entire surface was a bloomball plant, a very special one. Inside this world within a world was a society of ibees living in caves. Their long and difficult mission was to save them from extinction.

Eldon is sent on a special assignment to seven star systems in the Alpha sector of his galaxy. It is a seeker network circuit, called a seecirc. The Source seekers on the 19 planets of those systems need some kind of assistance that Eldon can help them with. At one stop he is given a pair of idol figures as a gift. The assignment proves to be longer and more difficult than he anticipated.
