Conservato in tre redazioni, tutte di mano del Boccaccio, il Trattatello in laude di Dante è stato composto fra il 1357 e il 1361**. Com’è noto e dichiarato sin dal titolo, si tratta di una “lode” all’Alighieri e alla sua celebre Divina Commedia.** In questa edizione alcuni termini sono stati lievemente e prudentemente attualizzati alla grafia contemporanea.
