What if we weren't the only ones alive on this planet that are stuck in the past of the medieval times with our modern English language? This is what this story is about: love, hope, destiny, and faith. Our planet blended in with another planet and galaxy past our very own Milky Way system. This is set around to animals that could or could not possibly live on our planet—animals we do hope are running free and some who hope aren’t. Centered around this somewhat peaceful planet are four brave warriors born to free their people from Zenel, a powerful, power-hungry mage, and his apprentice who would stop at nothing but to destroy the world of Alaire. All hope lies with the four and their companions and some of those creatures of myth and legend (or are they?) Out of the eight main characters, two are royalty. One is gifted, one is the best friend as well as a mere protector of one that is royal, one is a duke’s son, and another a blacksmith with power to spare—still another head of a castle—which is a small feat being one so young for her age. A young girl is a barmaid and helps her father make the best ale in all the land, and two are your average people. One is very extraordinary and a guardian to boot, and the other is destined to be a knight and uses his unique ability for good. They all come together to help defeat an army that seems to come from all over the galaxy and become the best of friends. Within the story also lies Christian symbolism that you may see in other stories about good versus evil and how good will always triumph over evil.
