Bonding of Best Friends 6; The Ball In an effort to bring Mr. Ed ‘Eduardo’ Martinez into the fold, he’s baited with a buxom redhead at his wife’s suggestion. ‘Janice Joyce’ informs him of a fundraising Halloween costume ball known for being risqué. Infatuated by Janny’s charms and seeming availability, he talks his wife, Rob and Celeste into attending the ball. Under the illusion that this is all his idea, Ed dresses as a pimp and Greta as a hooker. Pussycat follows her feline theme and creates a daring black cat costume. Rob, dressed as a wild animal trainer holding her leash, thinks that she’s asking for trouble. The foursome have their limits stretched when they mingle in a ballroom full of costumed swingers. An attendee, dressed as an outer space alien pays exorbitantly for three hours of Greta’s time, upstairs in his hotel room. Feeling oddly tricked into the transaction, Ed the pimp becomes Eduardo the great Latin lover and goes on a party binge to ease his frustration. Rob and Celeste are left on their own. After Silver’s mansion experience, Pussycat (Celeste) further amazes her husband by showing him her genuine appetite for gentlemen. Appointed for such occurrences, the many small, private triangles lining The Grand Ballroom are kept well-populated. Familiar with the terrain ‘The Wild Pussycat’ takes full advantage of her new liberation, with her husband aiding and abetting her efforts. Invited upstairs to Gerald Silver’s ‘royal’ after party, Greta sees as Ed’s big test. Can her ex-college boxer, territorial husband bare to see other men enjoy her, other than Rob? As her girlfriend did already, Greta places the outcome of her marriage on the club’s ability to have prepared her love bear for the jolt. Ball night, Greta dreams so vividly that she believes the event to be real. Relating back to turning her first trick only hours before, a ball goer costumed as a black-eyed space alien, she is abducted and seduced by a real black-eyed outer space alien. Her dream experience is so intense that she feels permanently altered. The foursome are having dinner at a restaurant when Ed takes a phone call. Joy draining from his face, he gentle informs Greta that her parents were killed in a plane crash. Leaving the loving support of her Orlando lover’s, she flies to the funeral in Philadelphia with her estranged sister and loathed brother-in-law.
