John Dark has a one night stand with Elizabeth Bathory. He's infected by her with something that makes him exhibit the symptoms of being a cross between a vampire and a werewolf. The only cure for this condition is to travel back to the middle ages, back to Bathory's home, and kill her before any of it happened. On the way there they are captured by a south sea islands cannibalistic tribe, become pirates, meet people they've known in other lives, (mainly Captain Carmel, Johnny's girlfriend) take part in a rhyming contest in a bar, fight a werewolf, fight some zombie-vampires, and finally make it to Castle Csejthe. There they battle it out with a poisonous Hydra where Johnny Davis is bit. Bathory escapes and Johnny dies on the journey through the time portal back to the modern day. Dark arrives in East St.Louis before he left. There he kills Bathory, after she's transformed into a massive spider. Johnny Davis is alive because in his time-continuum he never left. But he is very confused because he does have the memories of what happened. The book ends with Captain Carmel (a girlfriend Davis was hoping to never see again) showing up and John Dark leaving him to his fate worse than death. John Dark and Johnny Davis are East St. Louis' most dangerous street fighters. But after Dark has a one night stand with history's most Notorious Mistress of Murder they are thrown into a Time Traveling-Nightmare where they must face Pirates, Vampires, Werewolves, Cannibals, UnGodly Creatures of the Night, Legendary Ancient Monsters and even Death Itself. Will even East St. Louis' Kings of the Street be able to survive?
