"You gave me this damned key, and told me that I could come into our home. Do you remember that? I had this whole shit show about how I felt like I couldn't contribute and everything, remember?"

Oz remained silent, and nodded. He sniffed, trying to make the tears that started to pour out faster dry themselves. It wasn't working. It wouldn't work with those eyes looking the way they were.

"You found me, and I was a fucking mess. You found me, and you took him and dunked me into a damned fire and beat off all the rust and shit ... you found me and look at me. I'm right the fuck here where I am now, because you found me. You didn't just see a train wreck, but you saw a shitty punk that needed a reality check; and fucking shit you gave me a reality check."

"Kiral."

Kiral shook his head, near tears again, "Shut up, I'm not done, you old man."

Oz snorted, trying not to laugh and ended up tugging his hand over his lips to hide the smile bubbling up.
