Bobby Long and his friends have a penchant for being where they're not wanted. This summer, the boys strive to stay in standing with their elders, as a new family makes itself present in their sleepy town of County Creek. Bobby's life is altered when he meets Mel, a beautiful dark haired girl who makes him challenge his own feelings and belief of love. Can he truly learn to love beyond boyish ignorance?
