As vacationing Ben Candidi and Rebecca Levis sail through International Waters toward Grand Bahama Island, they receive a strange welcome—a sinking cabin cruiser with a dead man at the helm. The harder Ben and Rebecca press their claim, the more sinister West End becomes. Should they cut their losses and run? Or is it too late already?

Dirk Wyle is the pen name of Duncan H. Haynes, Ph.D., a 30-year veteran of biomedical science with a lifelong interest in literature. Commercial success of his drug microencapsulation technology enabled an early retirement from the duties of medical school professor. Since 2001 he has devoted full effort to inventing new challenges and adventures for his youthful protagonists, Ben Candidi (Ph.D.) and Rebecca Levis (M.D.).
