Mary Bell and her husband Henry lived in a cottage nestled in the woods during the late 1800’s. They were a very happy couple until the day they lost their only child Mabel to tuberculosis. It really hit them both hard which turned their whole world upside down. Henry started drinking pretty heavily and paying less attention to his wife’s needs. Resentment was setting in from his wife and she decided she had enough and with a couple pinches of arsenic Henry was dead. Mary Bell’s love for men soured from that day forward turning her heart as cold as ice.

Many months later lonely and no one to love because she lost her only child and husband she murdered she decided to give love a chance once more and she said “If this doesn’t work out then I’m through with all men. Mary Bell was introduced to a wealthy older gentlemen in town by a friend, and they got married the next day even though the two had nothing in common but she didn’t care all she cared about was his money. So, if he died he wouldn’t be missed and she wasn’t about to tell him that. After about a month Marie was ready to put her plan in motion. As her new husband was sitting at the kitchen table Marie put some arsenic in his tea and sat directly across the table watching excitedly as he drank his tea knowing at any moment he would die. As he was gasping for air he said “You poisoned me!”
