Angie Anderson was the happiest she had ever been, married to the love of her life, Jerome “Andy” Anderson, a world renown genetic researcher at Stanford University. Angie was a tenured professor there. They were discussing having a child. Suddenly, all hell broke loose.
Andy didn’t come home - his disappearance was ruled a suicide. Then Caleb Matthews, a homicide detective from Denver, whose father had been Andy’s mentor fifteen years ago, came to see Angie, telling her a tale of his own father’s mysterious disappearance fifteen years ago.
