Devon didn’t always have the perfect life, until she did. 

Chip had the perfect life, until he didn’t.

Devon thought she had it all, after coming from nothing. The family she always dreamed about, the life she never thought would be hers. In the blink of an eye, it all came crashing down, leaving Devon right where she started—alone. Ready to fight for survival once again, Devon knows not to rely on anyone except herself.

Chip had it all, the looks, the status, the family. Until one day, it came skidding to a halt. His perfect life shattered, though he won’t let it show. Desperate on the inside, he longs for what he lost.

A chance meeting draws Devon and Chip together. Chip calls it fate; Devon calls it stalking.  Each time she pushes Chip away, he pulls harder. Chip knows there’s something about Devon, something bonding them.
