This black and white interactive photographic collection brings together a selection of just some of my work from the past 10 years within an enhanced format. The book encompasses photography, sound and film, beginning with images from Liberia and subsequently a brief narrative of the experience—although in truth, there are many tales to tell in relation to all the images throughout the book.
There is much beauty, happiness and sadness around us everyday, coupled with kindness and gentleness in adversity and hardship should we choose to notice it. This collection explores society, humour and the human condition within our surroundings - unique moments in time using strong forms and graphic simplicity to capture the instantaneous.
In total there are images from Liberia, Italy, Albania, Romania, China, Barbados, England, Scotland and Paris in exquisite black and white detail. The breath of sound and film are not to distract, but to simply enhance the book's enjoyment and experience.
