The only brother of the Mason siblings is Winter Knight or Win to his friends and family. Solitary and recluse, he is still trying to move beyond the loss of his college girlfriend. She cut off all communication when he was called away to help his sister in California. If he can find her and tell her what happened, maybe he can move on and have a serious relationship. That is until her assailant got out of prison and tried to find her at her office. People had been hurt, the suspect got away and the police could not help her. She took a leave of absence and left the city to stay with her friend in New Mexico.
