This three-part analysis of modernity assesses the impact that Western thought and philosophy has had on the modern world. Pulling from the fringe of academia, the study focuses on the ancient wisdom of China, India, Egypt and the Hellenistic world. Furthermore, this treatise explores the mind of G. W. Leibniz, the man who invented calculus and laid the groundwork for binary code, which spawned nearly all digital computing. Leibniz also found his roots in the Frankish metaphysical tradition, thus thrusting forth the ideas of ancient alchemy into the modern world.
