An Unholy Way To Die

The country of the bard is a perilous place at the turn of the 17th century. Ned, a beggar, is found dead in the stocks, a knife embedded in his back. There is a dark resurgence of witchcraft throughout the region and a popular church is desecrated. The witchfinder, nemesis of the peasants, is called for as the tally of scapegoats mounts as the purge begins. But the Lord Lieutenant suspects one of his own is responsible for the mounting evil. His only trusted ally, Guy Kent, is brought in to investigate the crimes. Kent must find answers before he becomes a victim of a rising tide of evil.
