SIMON HADN’T BEEN feeling alright for the last hour.
In fact, since he had left Dreama in the parking lot of the restaurant where she would meet Raven, he had started feeling bad.
It started with a small thought – what if Raven knew that he was with Dreama last night in Erick’s castle?
Then the other questions fell like a ton of bricks.
What if he hadn’t lost her yesterday, at all, and she was able to follow him in his drive to Erick’s residence outside of Moon Bay? What if the reason why Raven was suddenly calling Dreama last night was because of that reason – she knew they were together. And what if Dreama had fallen into a trap by going to lunch with her sister?
What if, right now, Dreama was in harm’s way? What if Raven believed that her sister was on the way, and would do something to eliminate her out of it?
Simon worried, but he still tried to reason with himself.
Surely, she couldn’t be that mad? She wouldn’t do anything to harm Dreama… seriously.
