An urban legend has Alligators in Green Lake, which is near downtown Seattle. A pet alligator either escaped or was set free in the lake. While having never been seen, it still accounts for all the missing pets in north Seattle.
Rage and Jones are having a sunny outing at the lake when a mother screams, “It has my baby.” Jones is in the water while Rage is getting more information. She enters the water, swimming out to where Jones again comes to the surface. They conduct a Seal search pattern and Jones finds the little girl. They work on her until she starts to breathe. The little girl has strange marks on her face and legs, but not teeth marks.
They go to the hospital and the little girl is fine. They both wonder what is going on? Inspector Strong agrees they can guard the mother and child for the night. Early the next morning someone tries to kidnap the little girl. Rage changes clothes with the man trying to snatch the little girl, after Jones knocks him out.
A gun battle erupts in the garage and Rage removes two from the battle, but they escape.
The Inspector wishes to take all the medical records of the little girl and mother into protective custody.
Will this help figure out what is going on?
