Take the cattle on across the sprit before the tide changes and drowns the herd! Medgar Orr, ordered the men as they were ready to drive the herd from the two hundred two acres of island, the largest in the ten thousand islands along the southwest coast of Florida. Medgar Orr a very rich, refined man from down east Maine. Under his wide brim Stetson was coal black hair. His eyes were barely open but would burn right through anyone who tried to lie, cheat or steal from him. His temper would be backed up by a drawn knife or a .45 caliber revolver. His squint and his piercing eyes were his most dependable lie detector. His marriage to Valmette Neustein was too short as she died in child birth of their second child. A terrible hurricane stripped him of his island and home, no one saw coming.
