Every one of us at some point in our lives has had visions, goals and dreams of being somebody. Inspired by my Mom at an early age, she encouraged me to write. Poetry became my first love. People didn't understand me and I didn't care. I decided a long time ago that I would continue writing because I enjoyed writing. So, this book of poetry is mostly about who I am, what I've done, and how I perceive my understanding of God and life. I have written over a thousand poems; every poem that has been selected for this book is special to me, poems of my own personal experiences, poems of my battles and poems of my victories. God made it possible for this book. God made it possible for my life. I give Him the honor, the glory, and the praise. I am truly thankful as well as blessed. Special thanks go out to my wife Julia Anne. Thank you for all of your encouragement and all of your support. Your love has made a big difference to me in my life. I will always be grateful. I am so blessed. Thank you. To my daughter, Leah. While circumstances kept us apart for the first part of our lives, God saw fit to bring us back together. We are family. The miles between us might seem significant but know that I am here for you whenever you need me. Love - Dad And to Sarah, who held the key.
