This author being retired and having retired from the New York State Parks Commission was a lover of nature.He wrote about the beauty of the earth and his love for gardening.

Holidays had always been special family times and this author wrote about each holiday as he remembered growing up as a child and the importance of each whether fun holidays or spiritual Holy Days.
