"He saw footsteps in the soft sand leading to the shore. There she was, completely naked and supple, not hard. He ran, for she was nearing the water. He reached out and grabbed her by her arm - it was soft, supple, and warm. "Griancha,"he said "Stop, wait, take the ring." He held it up . "I must go," she said, "the island is calling." She slipped from his grasp into the blue sea. He dived after her and ahead of him he saw her running along the ocean floor, like a nymph, out to sea,but he could no longer breathe and had to surface"
