Daria Wells knew better than to get involved with a cop, even a retired cop. It doesn’t matter that he’s gorgeous, or that his kisses and scent leave her dizzy, weak and wanting more. Joe Cimminelli is the small town’s newest resident. He left the police force after an injury that hasn’t healed well. Yes, the mayor has asked him to fill in as the town’s sheriff, but that’s only a temporary job. He’s bought a wood maker’s shop a few doors from Daria’s place.
