Fakeer is an immigrant doctor of humble beginnings who comes to America from Pakistan. The good doctor travels to Pakistan as recompense for his excellent education. He enlists in Doctors Without Borders and goes to Kabul, but tragedy sets him off track. He returns again to America, suffering from post-traumatic stress, but it isnt long before hes back on Pakistani soil. No matter how much he loves America, the thought of home continues to haunt him.
