Life after death just got deadlier. Mrs. Beatrice Timmons (aka Miss Knight) is thoroughly unimpressed by the troop of monkeys that have invaded her kitchen. Of course, that’s only the beginning of the influx of undesirable critters. When a giant spider appears in the garden, Mrs. Timmons knows there’s trouble brewing and it’s not served with tea. A choice must be made: agree to an unholy alliance or endanger an unborn child? To confound matters further, her husband disapproves of the whole venture. And that’s before Mrs. Timmons vanishes into the Underworld to pay an unsolicited visit to the God of Death. While it’s all for a good cause, the consequences could be dire.

“I really enjoyed it.”

A Spider Comes Calling is the sixth case in “Society for Paranormals”, where African myth meets Victorian manners. If you adore “Pride & Prejudice”, appreciate British humor, enjoy paranormal mysteries, or would love to experience adventure in colonial Africa, start your supernatural safari now.

“I read the whole book straight through without stopping. Jonas has always been one of my favorite characters so I enjoyed his part that he played in the book as well as Beatrice & Mr. Timmons who always make all the books so entertaining.”

“The pace is fast, furious, and filled with unusual creatures of the dark and light.”

“I thoroughly got into this story… because it was humorous; maybe it was because of the bantering between the various characters.”
