A Scorpion's Tail

Chorale was a loving, beautiful young lady who took on the domestic responsibilities of managing the ranch. Together she and her brother Trent were accountable for caring for their paraplegic Grandpa shortly after their mother died. Their Grandpa owned the ranch and employed six hired hands to take care of the livestock, one of which was quite mesmerized by Chorale as they shared private tender moments until she became pregnant with his child. One day while taking care of her chores, she was badly bitten by a poisonous black scorpion and became seriously ill but due to delayed medical attention, a very detrimental and unfortunate circumstance transpired later.
