In particular, Volume 4 is a devastating argument, grounded in staggering collection of evidence, that the Old Testament has no rival as an immoral book, and the author makes a strong case for a late medieval or even a Renaissance forgery. I do not think anyone else has examined the Bible in more detail and with more passion.
