Long Synopsis
A fortyish, three time widow and school teacher, on the eve of her fourth wedding, panics, runs away and dies in the automobile accident. Waking up in a heavenly shopping mall she meets God who informs her that everyone in heaven has a mate. No one is alone. She must spend one month with each of her prior husbands before deciding on who her eternal partner will be. The courtship with each husband begins.
Seven weeks later, sans an appointment she meets with God and informs him she cannot select any of them as she was a different person with each husband. She married her high school beau at eighteen, a free spirited photographer at twenty-eight and an insurance agent in her mid-thirties.
God tells her she must choose, to go back and try again. The woman disagrees. To the dismay of her heavenly councilor, she elicits the help of other women to her cause of ‘Free Choice in Heaven.’
The revolution begins in the shopping mall and promptly spreads throughout heaven, resulting in utter chaos and turmoil as more and more women join her to the dismay of their spouses. Weeks later God calls her. During her discussion with God she realizes she always had free choice. God returns her to earth, peace once more reigns supreme in heaven and Free Choice has been implemented in heaven.
She wakes up in the emergency room several hours later puzzled by the dream she had. The next day she weds her fourth husband.
