His inspiring story begins with a girl named Susan who was constantly considered to be 'different' and never quite belonged. Whilst on the road to self-discovery, she struggled and was faced with endless obstacles that would have beaten others. Susan tackled depression, self-harm, emotional and sexual abuse but she has managed to overcome this and now, as Ben, he has discovered his true sense of self.
