#1.Seeking God and Truth -- The author has taken the pen name TLS {The Lord's Scribe}. The author had a deep faith crisis in which I questioned everything ... was Christianity even correct, what about Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism .... ? In retrospect I never stopped believing that there was “a God” ...... even so this faith crisis was extremely powerful and I guess I could have walked away there and then ..... perhaps many do to, “…do their own thing, be themselves, have fun, live for self ... etc.” ... here’s where free will and choice come into play. What I actually did was SEEK GOD..... the prayer was very simple it essentially went, “....If You’re really there, show me....”. Well there was no booming voice filling the room, no apparitions, however, over the next few months answers came to each question I posed, sometimes by bizarre means .... I was suddenly awestruck .... I realized that this was an intelligence ... who could hear, in my language ... but was external to my normal environment .... and this intelligence could orchestrate responses .... I was suddenly awe struck and knelt in prayer and in essence said, “...Ok, enough, I believe....” – Faith Crisis over ..... now I thought that was the end of it -- silly me. I guess I had this misconception that – I had a faith crisis – God has answered my questions – I’m happy – now let’s get back to living life as I used to. I’ve come to realize that ..... once you “stir up God”, so to speak, it’s a bit like letting a Genie out of a bottle .... once allowed in He doesn't let go easily and may come back again and again and it may be difficult to close the door thereafter. Later the Lord started explaining that there are many paths to Heaven, but then explained **WHY** it is far better to be a Christian than any other religion. The Lord kept calling to UNITE and come to the truth, but I did not know where. After much searching the Lord took me down an ever narrowing path until there was a style at the end, which I had to either jump, or walk away. I jumped the style and thought that was it but then the Lord started coming again and again with explanations of Christianity. Initially I took these to be just for me but then the Lord basically said, ".... go tell them....". It was a bit surreal, perhaps like John Denver in Oh God, .....what me? Perhaps the Apostles had a similar feeling when Christ said, ... go tell the whole world. So it is up to you -- believe or don't, that's your problem.**
