Wild Herbs

The idea for this notebook originally came from a country walk with the author Giovanna Nicaso, who stopped at every step to illustrate the abundance and uniqueness of the natural flora present at La Maliosa, an organic and biodynamic farm that has made respect for nature its raison d'etre. Over the years, these lands have become a real oasis, offering a pristine biodiversity that is expressed through the abundance of plant species representative of the Maremma Tuscany. The cataloguing work lasted 600 days, producing cards that include photographic documentation, a botanical description and, where possible, a recipe.
