We have been warned. It has been predicted, that before the end of this century, a massive solar storm will unleash a gigantic electromagnetic pulse towards Earth. Everything electric will burn out. All power grids will be destroyed; all motorized vehicles will stop, planes will fall, electrical medical equipment will fail, and all batteries will burn up. Civilization comes to a halt, food spoils and warehouse food cannot be delivered. Prisons empty, gangs and individuals fight for food and water. Without communications, the Government, the military, and the police forces are ineffective, and join the general population in a fight for survival.

If the North American power grids are destroyed, either by electromagnetic pulse or by terrorist, it is estimated that 90% of the population would die the first year. This could be caused by starvation, criminal activity, disease, and suicide.

Journey with Brad Walker as he travels 300 miles through a country devastated by an electromagnetic pulse, as he makes his way to his father’s farm. He encounters gangs, bikers, and a homicidal escaped convict who has sworn to kill him. Along the way he picks up two teenagers, Carl and Angie, whose homes and families were destroyed.
