Monica Julita Burton, an educator with a theological background, is an activist and a Spirit-filled and Spirit- led woman of God. In speaking through her own silence, Burton challenges us to explore faith in the daily experiences of our lives by keeping our eyes and hearts open for God’s messages of love and encouragement as He speaks to us through each act of love, each act of courage and each act of sacrifice, no matter how trivial they may seem. Burton’s poems dare us to search for God’s grace in all human experiences—even in life’s darkest times.
