WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS - Version 1 February 2019 with final edits

In this thoughtful and daring book, Angelina Souren takes you on a tour along matters of life and death, exploring various aspects of the new eugenics.

Souren, who's a feminist, is an independent researcher and writer whose main background is in earth and life sciences but also contains legal experience. For this book, she drew on her personal life as well.

She does not shy away from difficult questions. "Why do we have so much trouble accepting ourselves and each other?" she asks.

With regard to the new eugenics, she argues for caution and shows that technological progress sometimes leads to mistakes.

Souren also tackles the difficult task of defining “a life not worth living” and makes an attempt at a logical guideline for the stepwise application of the new eugenics. Because we need to reach a global consensus on these matters.

Also available as paperback.
