The first story "The Alright Brothers", Jessie and James embark attempt to execute a 'fool-proof' plan to steal some rich man's fortunes right out from under his nose. The brothers are almost all geared up and exceedingly clear on the plan so they head out into the night towards early retirement. Their escapade is rife with witty banter, brotherly arguments, and a license, more like a learner’s permit, to kill.

In "The First Time Master" our unnamed thief takes his first steps as a solo act. He is offered the title of Master Thief but first, he must steal his masterpiece to be fully acknowledged. So tonight he takes his highly honed skills and maybe some new nifty tools along for the ride. Through rigorous practice and with endless ambition he sets out to claim the prize and title of Master Thief.

Finally, in "The Lucky Ones" Jane, or Cadet 24, just witnessed the end of the world but her story doesn't stop there. She and a handful of survivors must carve out an existence among the wreckage of society. With a crash course in military training by a small troop of national guardsmen she and a select few become the glue that will keep what is left of their world from crumbling further into dust.
